It was my pleasure to accompany Richard Blanco, the inaugural poet for President Obama's second inauguration, to Washington D.C. for the ceremony. He and I had dreamed of working on something together for many years and this presented the perfect occasion. I ideated, illustrated and designed the book cover for FOR ALL OF US, ONE TODAY, In tandem to this I created a piece of art showcasing Richard's words (The Inaugural Poem) with my pictures. This artwork was presented to President Obama (see below), it is now hanging in his private office within The Oval Office.



The following are a few ideas of the many on the journey to the final cover.
